To activate Advanced Encryption in Zendesk and use your own EU hosted encryption key, these are the steps that need to be configured.

Step 2. Request KMS (Key Management System) och generate the key
Step 3. Enter your individual key in the Zendesk CMK Configuration Broker to activate the encryption

Zendesk has released Advanced Encryption as an EAP (Early Access Program). You need to join this, so that Zendesk can activate the Advanced Encryption function for your instance.

Step 2. Request KMS (Key Management System) och generate the key
When Zendesk has enabled Advanced Encryption for your account, you need to create your own encryption key and enter it in Zendesk. This key is created in the KMS.
To request the EU Hosted KMS, you fill in This form.

Step 3. Enter your individual key in the Zendesk CMK Configuration Broker to activate the encryption
Once you have activated Advanced Encryption, created a key, it needs to be entered into Zendesk.
