How to create the EU Hosted Encryption key for Advanced Encryption in Zendesk – HappiRel

This is Instructions on how to create the EU Hosted Encryption key for Advanced Encryption in Zendesk.

Step 1 - Fill out the form

To request EU Key for advanced Encryption you need to fill out the request form.

Step 2 - Verification and Account creation

HappiRel will verify the request and an account will be created in the Key Management Portal. Login credentials will be e-mailed to the technical contact specified in the contact form.

Step 3 - Sign in to the Key Management portal

Navigate to the Key Management Portal and sign in with your credentials.

Step 4 - Generate a password

When signed in to the Key Management Portal, a password must be generated.

Go to Users > Change Password > Set a new password > Submit

Step 5 - Find the credentials you need

Navigate to the start page “Home”. Here you will find all credentials needed to activate the encryption in Zendesk.

Step 6 - Sign in to Zendesk CMK Configuration Broker.

Navigate to https://advanced-encryption.zendesk.com and sign in. Your Zendesk account owner should have received the login credentials and instructions from Zendesk when you signed up for the EAP.
